Quick guide

Everything you need to get the most out of StartAton, from your first idea to a validated launch.

What is StartAton

StartAton is not a course. It is an adaptive incubation system: it builds a personalized learning journey around your startup idea and stays with you at every step through Aton.

Instead of watching generic lessons, you build your real project while you learn how to do it. Every module produces a concrete result, not a certificate.

💡Key principle: learn by doing, not by watching. Every session ends with something tangible: a validated canvas, a list of interviews, a draft pitch deck.

Getting started

  1. 1Create your account. Click Sign up on the home page. An email and a password are enough, no card required.
  2. 2Describe your idea. The first time you log in, you are asked for your name, your startup idea and your experience level. The more detail you give, the more tailored your program will be. You don't need to have it all figured out: even "I want to solve X for Y" is a great starting point.
  3. 3Your program is generated. In a few seconds Aton creates a personalized program with progressive modules built around your specific idea.
  4. 4Start with the first module. Go to the dashboard, open the first module and start talking to Aton. The journey always begins with an analysis of the real problem: don't skip it.

Your program

Every program is made of progressive modules that follow the life cycle of a startup: from problem to product, from validation to pitch.

Strategic Discovery

Who your customer is and what problem they really have.

Market Research

How big it is, who's already there, at what price.

Business Model & Finance

Costs, revenue, margin per customer.

MVP & Landing Page

The smallest version to put in front of customers.

Traction & Metrics

Channels, acquisition cost, who stays.

Pitch Deck & Investor Readiness

The story you'll tell investors.

Every module has goals, topics to cover and a final hands-on exercise. A module is complete when Aton finds your exercise satisfactory. The first module is free; the rest of the journey is included in Aton Core and Aton PRO.

⚠️Don't skip modules or take them out of order. The journey is built in sequence: the decisions from module 2 become the context for module 3. Skipping means building on empty foundations.

Working with Aton

Aton has access to your whole journey, remembers the decisions you made in earlier modules and adapts to your level. It is not a generic chatbot: it knows who you are, what your idea is and where you are in the journey.

How to use it well

  • Be specific. "I don't know what to do" is less useful than "I'm worried my target is too broad, how do I narrow it down?"
  • Answer its questions. Aton asks one question at a time. Answer in detail before moving on.
  • Don't be afraid to disagree. If you think Aton is wrong, tell it: pushing back is part of the process.
  • Use the feedback on your exercises. After every exercise Aton tells you what works and what doesn't. Take that feedback seriously.

Dedicated chats by topic

Inside every module you also find topic chats for each specific goal. Use them to go deeper on a subject without losing the thread of the main session.

🤖Aton is direct and sometimes challenges your assumptions. That's normal, and intended. Its goal is not to make you feel good, but to help you build something that really works.

Hands-on exercises

Every module ends with a hands-on exercise. You can do it right in the chat or upload a file (image or PDF) with your work.

How feedback works

  1. 1Upload or write your work. Use the attachment button in the chat, or just write your answer.
  2. 2Aton reviews it. You get structured feedback: what you did well, what's missing, follow-up questions.
  3. 3Iterate. Respond to the feedback, work in the corrections and submit again if needed.
  4. 4Move on to the next module. When the exercise is satisfactory, Aton offers to unlock the next module.

Memory and progress

Aton doesn't forget. The system automatically saves the key decisions you make in every module and carries them into the next ones: you won't have to repeat yourself every session.

How memory works

  • Module checkpoint: when you complete a module, a structured summary of the decisions you made (target customer, value proposition, and so on) is saved.
  • Session context: every 6 messages, Aton updates a summary of the current session in the background so nothing gets lost.
  • Cross-module memory: in the later modules, Aton explicitly refers back to decisions from earlier modules.
💾You can come back to a session days later and Aton will pick up exactly where you left off, with no need to explain your project from scratch.

Message limit

The free plan and Aton Core include 35 messages a day, counted across all your programs. You can use them all in a single session. The limit is there to keep the service good and sustainable.

What happens when they run out

  • The input is locked, but you can still read and scroll through the whole conversation.
  • A countdown shows when the limit resets (every day at midnight UTC).
  • Your progress, modules and conversations are safe: nothing is deleted.
  • With Aton PRO there is no daily limit.
📌Tip: use your messages with intent. Specific, detailed questions get more useful answers than generic ones, and they use the same number of messages.

Modules and progress

The dashboard shows all the modules in your program with their status: completed, in progress, locked.

Moving between modules

  • Every module has its own main chat with Aton.
  • Click a module to pick the conversation back up where you left it and work on the goals you have unlocked.
  • You can reopen completed modules at any time: handy for going back over decisions you made or unlocked materials (templates, checklists, worksheets).

Strategic pivot

If your idea changes radically along the way, you can do a Pivot: Aton keeps what you learned from the previous idea and applies it to the new direction, treating you like a veteran, not a beginner starting from zero.
