StartAton supports positive innovation. These rules exist to protect people who are building serious things.

The basic principle
By signing up to StartAton you agree not to use the platform to build illegal, deceptive or fraudulent activities. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that breach these conditions, without notice.
StartAton exists to support positive innovation: helping founders with concrete, ethical and constructive ideas turn their projects into solid businesses.
We believe that the best startups make the world better, or at least a small part of it. That is why we want our platform to remain a place where ideas worth being proud of are born.
StartAton does not support, and reserves the right to suspend immediately, projects related to:
• Illegal activities: any business that breaks national or international laws, including tax evasion, money laundering, smuggling and the sale of illegal substances.
• Fraud and scams: pyramid schemes, aggressive MLM, deceptive products or services, promises of guaranteed earnings or unrealistic returns.
• Spam and manipulation: automated systems to send unsolicited communications, manipulate reviews, game algorithms or breach the terms of service of third-party platforms.
• Hateful content: ideas that promote discrimination, violence or hatred based on ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation or other personal characteristics.
• Privacy violations: collecting, selling or unlawfully using the personal data of third parties without consent.
• Offensive cybersecurity: tools, services or content designed to attack computer systems, steal credentials or compromise the infrastructure of others.
Some ideas fall into ambiguous areas. In these cases we look at:
• Stated intent: is the idea presented as legal and aimed at creating real value for users?
• Business model: are the earnings based on a fair exchange of value, or on deception?
• Impact on end users: does the product or service improve the lives of the people who use it, or take advantage of them?
We are not moral judges of personal choices or unusual business models, but we reserve the right not to support ideas that, in our sole judgement, breach the principles of this policy.
When you sign up: every user explicitly agrees not to use StartAton for activities that are illegal, deceptive or against these rules.
While you use it: Aton is instructed not to support ideas that are clearly unethical or illegal. If Aton detects signs of this kind, Aton will refuse to go ahead and point to our guidelines.
Reports: anyone can report improper use by writing to policy@startaton.com. Every report is reviewed within 5 working days.
Consequences: if a breach is confirmed, we reserve the right to suspend or delete the account without notice and without refunding any current subscriptions.
StartAton is built for people who want to build something real:
• Product & tech startups: SaaS, apps, marketplaces, digital platforms
• Traditional businesses with an innovative idea: food, retail, professional services, consulting
• Social and non-profit projects: impact businesses, cooperatives, community initiatives
